Effect disappears when preview set higher than 1/4

We are just learning this plugin at our office and have a pretty nice light streak effect following a 3D light point so far. However, when we switch to anything above 1/4 preview, portions – or in some cases all – of the light streaks effect’s path disappear. Any idea why that would be the case? We are working in very large composition sizes because we are producing for a live event with multiple, ultra-wide projection screens.

just read this, worked for me:
Hi , please try to change the Far Clip value on the main Stardust effect, as your camera is probably just too far for the default settings, with a 15000 pxl comp, the Camera is 15000 pxl away from the Zero plane.

I had a problem where the camera’s depth of field was causing a lot of the particles to disappear or be hardly visible. Turning off DoF or adjusting the camera’s aperture helped
